Tiffany Rucker
Founder
Tiffany's deep commitment to her community is the driving force behind Rucker’s Community Care (RCC). Born and raised in Long Beach, California, and a proud Long Beach Poly alumna, Tiffany’s family has lived in the city for over three decades. Witnessing Long Beach’s transformation and the growing effects of gentrification, she recognized that homelessness remained a pressing issue.
Determined to create real, lasting change, Tiffany founded RCC to provide sustainable pathways to stability for individuals and families facing housing insecurity. Through its hybrid structure—a mission-driven nonprofit paired with a revenue-generating LLC—RCC ensures every purchase directly supports programs that uplift the community. Although Tiffany no longer resides in Long Beach, her family’s legacy continues to fuel her dedication to preserving the city’s heart and expanding RCC’s impact throughout the region.
Jessica Johnson
Director of Community Services
Jessica serves as the Secretary The Director of Community Services, leveraging over a decade of experience in social services to support vulnerable individuals and communities. Although not raised in Long Beach, her birthplace and deep family roots there inspired a lifelong commitment to service, following the compassionate example set by her parents and grandmother. Passionate about empowering marginalized populations—including at-risk youth, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those facing socioeconomic disadvantages—Jessica effectively navigates complex systems to connect people with necessary resources. An avid learner, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master’s in Public Administration, continually expanding her expertise. Guided by her faith, Jessica approaches her work with purpose, dedicating herself to transforming lives through service, compassion, and leadership to make a lasting impact on the community.
Andre Dedmon Jr
Director of Development
Andre is the Director of Development for Ruckers Community Care and a humanitarian professional from Long Beach, California. Drawing on his background in the medical field and customer service, Andre found his life's purpose in serving those in need. His work is driven by a passion for empowering communities and making a meaningful impact through compassionate leadership.
Ronell Martin
Director of Marketing
Ronnie is the Director of Marketing for Rucker's Community Care and a native of New Orleans with a career dedicated to empowering communities. His commitment to service began with outreach for Hurricane Katrina victims and grew into a lifelong mission. Drawing on a background in psychology, Ronnie leads with compassion and a deep understanding of people, having partnered with various nonprofits to provide essentials like housing, clothing, and food to underserved populations. Beyond his development work, he teaches dance classes nationwide to promote joy and self-expression. His ultimate goal is to establish a nonprofit performing arts center for youth to foster creativity and community.
Ebony Phillips
Director of Programs
Ebony is the Director of programs at Rucker's Community Care, driven by a deep passion for building a more equitable community and ensuring that everyone has a foundation for a better life. Her mission is to embody the change she wishes to see in the world by prioritizing "Humanity first." Ebony focuses on creating small acts of kindness for a large impact, bringing hope and compassion to those in need, and raising awareness for overlooked populations by sharing their stories. Fueled by kindness and positivity, she believes that small steps can lead to monumental change as she works to spread love and resources and inspire others to get involved and uplift the Long Beach community.
Jathiyah Clark
VP of Programs
Jathiyah, a Long Beach native, is distinguished by her compassionate heart for helping people in need. She values cultivating deeper relationships and is dedicated to providing guidance to help individuals take the next step in their lives. Jathiyah is dedicated to making an impact one city at a time.
Our Mission
We forge pathways to stability for individuals experiencing homelessness by providing safe shelter and opportunities for personal growth, fueled by the sustainable revenue from Rucker's Community Care LLC.
